Day 1: Introduction to Environmental Management System (EMS) concepts as required by ISO 14001- Introduction to management systems and the process approach;- Presentation of ISO 14001 structure and requirements;- ISO 14001 Application;- Fundamental principles of environmental management;- Identification and evaluation of environmental aspects/impacts and their significance;- Writing a business case and a project plan for the implementation of an EMS.Day 2: Initiating an EMS based on ISO 14001- Selection of the approach and implementation methodology;- Definition of the scope;- Definition of environment policy and objectives; - Identification and analysis of customer needs and requirements;- Writing a business case and a project plan for the implementation of a EMS;- Drafting an EMS; Day 3: Implementing an EMS based on ISO 14001- Implementation of a document management framework;- Development of a training & awareness program and communicating about Environment;- Resource management processes (human resources, infrastructure and work environment);- Product / Service realization processes;- Purchasing process;- Operational management of an EMS.Day 4: Controlling, monitoring, measuring and improving an EMS and the certification audit of an EMS in accordance with ISO 14001- Controlling and monitoring an EMS; - Development of metrics, performance indicators and dashboards in accordance with ISO 14001;- ISO 14001 Internal Audit; - Management review of an EMS;- Implementation of a continual improvement program;- Preparing for an ISO 14001 certification audit.Day 5: Certification Exam
